Bati is a traditional Indian flatbread that can be made in a microwave oven.

First, mix together 1/4 cup water and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a small bowl. Then spray a microwavable bowl with cooking spray. Crack 1 egg into the bowl and stir until the egg is fully dissolved. Stir in 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.

Add the mixture to the microwave oven and cook on high for 1 minute. Remove from the microwave oven and knead for 1 minute. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 6-inch squares. Place the squares on a greased baking sheet and cook in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
Wheat balls are baked in an oven, dipped in ghee and then served with Rajasthani Dal.

It tastes best when eaten with melted ghee and chana dal.
